QuEST Global, which acquired NeST Software to establish a presence in Technopark here, has completed one year.
The acquisition helped the company strengthen the breadth and depth of its engineering service offering besides diversifying into new industries such as medical devices and automotive, a spokesman said.
2020 VISION
Narayanan S, Vice-President and Center Head, QuEST Thiruvananthapuram, addressed the employees on the occasion and shared the collective QuEST 2020 Vision to become a billion-dollar company in the next five years.
“Post-acquisition, the journey has been quite exciting and has brought in new opportunities here," he said.
"By cross-selling our services and solutions across multiple domains, we are now able to address the increasing engineering needs of our customers in a better manner.
"We aim to become the preferred destination for talented engineers both inside and outside Kerala as well by providing people opportunities to work with Fortune 500 organisations and on emerging technologies.”
NEW INITIATIVES
The Thiruvananthapuram centre witnessed many new initiatives over the last year, the spokesman said.
This included the launch of the 'Technology Excellence Group' to establish, nurture and institutionalise the technology culture within, and the 'Think-A-Ton' contest to generate ideas that add value to customers and support organisational growth.
As part of the 'go green' initiative, a nature club and a cycle club were also launched during the period, the spokesman added.
