In limited deals, prices of masoor and its dal declined by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market on Saturday due to lack of demand against adequate supplies.

Marketmen said lack of demand against adequate supplies mainly helped masoor and its dal prices to decline.

In the national capital, masoor small, and bold, declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,650-3,850 and Rs 3,800-3,950, while its dal local and best quality traded lower by similar margin to Rs 4,350-4,450 and Rs 4,450-4,550 per quintal respectively.

The following are today’s pulses rates per quintal: Urad 3,300-3,700, Urad Chilka (local) 4,150-4,500, best 4,600-5,100, Dhoya 5,100-5,200, Moong 5,100-5,700, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,650-6,050, Moong Dhoya local 6,050-6,150 and best quality 6,750-6,850.

Masoor small 3,650-3,850, bold 3,800-3,950, Dal Masoor local 4,350-4,450, best quality 4,450-4,550, Malka local 4,150-4,250, best 4,350-4,450, Moth 3,500-4,100, Arhar 3,650-4,200, Dal Arhar Dara 5,350-5,550.
