Sugar prices at the Vashi market declined by ₹20-25 a quintal on higher selling pressure from producers who sold the sweetener at ₹20-30 lower. Naka rates were mixed with limited activities. Arrivals were at 60-62 truck loads and local dispatches were at 58-60 loads. Inventory at Vashi remained stable at 105-110 loads. On Thursday evening, about 22 mills sold 50,000 bags at ₹3,010-3,200 for S-grade and ₹3,120-3,300 for M-grade. Freight rates were steady.
