The board of Bharat Gears has approved the rights issue of up to ₹15 crore to the existing shareholders of the company. The board has also authorised the existing Finance Committee to decide on the terms and conditions of the issue, including the issue size, issue price, timing of the issue, rights entitlement ratio, record date and all other matters, in consultation with the lead manager to the issue. Shares of Bharat Gears jumped 7.12 per cent at ₹161 on the NSE.
