Lifted by a rally in oil prices, ONGC stayed ahead of the pack near the close on the BSE on Thursday. At 3.30 pm share was trading at Rs 327.50, up 3.25 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 317.20.
Auto share M&M rolled up 1.30 per cent to trade at Rs 1,225.25. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 1,209.50.
Hindalco Industries extended its morning gains to 1.07 per cent at Rs 137 as against Rs 135.55 at close yesterday.
Bharti Airtel edged down a tad to hold gains of 1.04 per cent at Rs 418.90. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 414.60.
NTPC powered up 0.97 per cent at Rs 156.20 as against Rs 154.70 at close on Wednesday.
