Tata Steel extended its morning rally to notch up gains of 6.25 per cent on the BSE on Tuesday. At 2.59 pm the share was trading at Rs 229.45 against Rs 215.90 at close overnight.
GAIL (India) also rallied further to trade at Rs 293.7 against Rs 277.10 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 5.99 per cent.
BHEL steamed up 5.75 per cent at Rs 212.50 against Rs 200.95 at close last evening.
Axis Bank made further gains at Rs 472.80 against Rs 450.55 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 4.94 per cent.
ICICI Bank traded up 4.87 per cent to quote at Rs 261.4 against Rs 249.25 at close yesterday.
