Karnataka Bank Ltd has increased the prime lending rate (PLR) and base rate by 50 basis points and 75 basis points, respectively, with effect from February 14.
A bank release said here on Monday that the bank has increased its PLR from 14.5 per cent to 15 per cent. This increase is for all categories of loans presently linked to PLR. The bank also increased the base rate from 9 per cent to 9.75 per cent, it added.
