Aviva Life Insurance has announced a tie-up with Suvidhaa, a leading Services Commerce (S-Commerce) player in India, to launch its new payment renewal service across 500 cities and 10,000 touch points.
This service will provide Aviva customers a hassle-free option to walk into any Suvidhaa outlet, provide some basic information for verification and pay the renewal premium, a press release issued here stated.
The Aviva Life Insurance Director, Operations & Business Excellence, Mr Snehil Gambhir, said: “We always put our customers at the heart of our business. This new service will not only add to our services eco-system and provide additional convenience to our customers for premium payment, it will also boost our persistency.”
Customers will be given a receipt of their premium paid at the outlet. It will provide them a secure transaction platform along with 24x7 call centre assistance from Suvidhaa, the release said.
The Suvidhaa Infoserve Founder Managing Director & CEO, Mr Paresh Rajde, said: “We are delighted to have one of the leading private insurance players, Aviva Life Insurance, into our insurance basket and eager to serve their customers in their neighbourhood.”
Through this tie-up, Aviva India will increase its customer touch-points via a pan-India outlet presence and expand its alternate channel penetration for renewals apart from Aviva branches and various other alternatives.
In addition to the Suvidhaa outlets, Aviva customers can continue to choose to pay premiums through their credit card, online bank transfers, ECS facilities, Skypak drop-boxes and at Aviva branches, the release said.
Aviva Life Insurance is a joint venture between the Dabur Group and Aviva Group in a 74:26 stakeholding ratio.
