Corporation Bank has completed opening accounts for all un-banked households in the villages and wards allotted to it under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY). A press release from the bank said Corporation Bank was allotted 2,291 villages and 951 wards in urban areas spread across 23 States. The bank conducted a survey of all the households in the villages and wards allotted to it to identify the un-banked households and opened 14.80 lakh accounts and mobilised ₹227.64 crore..
