IDBI Bank has launched its mobile banking application, which will enable customers to avail themselves of a range of services such as funds transfer, bill payment, mobile/DTH recharge, and an account view across savings, current account, fixed/recurring deposits, loans and demat.
The public sector bank, in a statement, said its customers now have the flexibility to select and access their account across any or all the mobile banking channels namely SMS, Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), Browser and Mobile App simultaneously.
The new application, with the branding 'IDBI Bank Go Mobile', is available on the Android platform and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
Speaking at the launch, M S Raghavan, CMD, IDBI Bank said: “...The new app will help us stay connected with our customers 24X7, thus giving an opportunity to cater to their needs immediately and saving them the time and effort to visit the bank branch. Smartphones are becoming a way of life and through this application our customers can attend to their banking needs from anywhere”.
