Kolkata-based Srei Infrastructure Finance might sell a part or its entire stake in telecom tower company Viom Networks early next year.
Sunil Kanoria, Vice-Chairman, Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd, said: “We have started our process and appointed banks for the stake sale.”
He said the company will explore all possible options for divesting the stake in Viom Networks.
Viom Networks is the company in which the investment made by Srei Infrastructure has “matured'', he added.
Kanoria did not give an exact figure when asked how much the company will raise from the stake sale in Viom. He said it will depend on the route the company takes for the sale. If it is done through an intial public offering, then the company will stand to gain more.
