Six persons were charred to death and 12 others injured, five of them seriously, when a Bangalore-bound bus caught fire at Metikurke, 25 km from here, today.
Three critically injured passengers have been hospitalised at Davangere, while two of them were admitted to a hospital here, police said.
The bus was carrying about 30 passengers from Davangere when the accident took place in the early hours, they said.
