Skipper bags ₹150-cr order
Kolkata-based power transmission, distribution, telecom and railways structure manufacturer, Skipper Ltd, has secured orders worth ₹150 crore for installing and upgrading 2,500 telecom towers. The company has bagged these orders from Reliance Jio, American Tower Co and Bharti Infratel, it said in a notification to the bourses. Most of these towers will be coming-up in eastern India. Skipper has also entered the Latin American market with a $5-million order for setting up telecom towers. The company further said it has been associated with the world’s leading tower design company Ramboll of Denmark for serving the domestic and overseas markets.
