The National Jute Board (NJB) will conduct a jute fair, an exhibition-cum-sale of lifestyle jute decorative products, in Mangalore on January 16-20.
A press release by NJB said Gulzar Banu, Mayor of Mangalore, will inaugurate the event on January 16.
The NJB, which is under the Union Ministry of Textiles, has been organising exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, fashion shows, seminars and workshops for the promotion of the eco-friendly jute products.
The jute fair will be conducted at Woodlands Auditorium on Bunts’ Hostel Road in the city, the release added.
