Startup Village has launched a ‘Startup Academy’ to promote entrepreneurial culture among students and make them industry-ready.
The academy was formally inaugurated by Raju Hormis, Head of CSR of Federal Bank. It was set up in association with Federal Bank and offers courses in four verticals – entrepreneurship, employability skills and life hacks, technical workshops and leadership. Each of these verticals is tailored to suit the varying interests of the students.
The Startup Academy aims to teach young students the strategies for creating a technology startup, said Sanjay Vijayakumar.
The Federal Bank has partnered to help Startup Village train 1,000 engineering students in mobile app development. The programme is open to students from all colleges across the country.
