West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Saturday Bengal would define what work culture is in the near future.

Addressing a meeting here, Banerjee said the State’s work culture would be “exemplary”. “People will come and see in Bengal what is work culture,” she added.

The Chief Minister said the State Government employees would get incentives and awards for good work once the financial condition of the State improves.

A commission would also be set up soon to verify complaints against these employees, she said. The State Cabinet recently approved a Bill to fine staffers who fail to provide services within a stipulated time.
