The 10 EMU rakes that were damaged due to stone pelting at Diva on Friday were repaired and pressed back into service by 7.30 am on Saturday.

A Central Railway statement said that the first rake was up and running by 4 am. Moreover, the Central Railway has appealed to passengers not to manhandle motorman/guard/station master or other station staff and not to damage railway property in times of disruptions which are technical in nature.
