The Haryana Government has revised the rates for dearness allowance relief for its pensioners and family pensioners from 65 to 72 per cent with effect from July 1, 2012.
State Finance Minister H. S. Chattha said the relief would be admissible on the pattern of Union Government.
The Government would spend a sum of Rs 8.35 crore a month to give this increased dearness allowance relief, he said on Wednesday.
