D Surya Prakasam, has been elected as Chairman, Hyderabad Chapter of the Indian Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) for 2016-17 at a General Body meeting held here.
He is at present General Manager (Finance & Corporate Affairs) with the Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd. Prakasam held various positions in public and private sector organisations.
The other office bearers elected during the meeting were KVN Lavanya, Vice-Chairman, R Chandrasekhar, Secretary, P Satya Latha, Treasurer.
