Vodafone India conducted a walkathon at Technopark here on Thursday to promote road safety and to encourage safe driving practices. Anoop Ambika, Secretary, G-Tech, industry body that represents software companies in the State, flagged off the event which saw participation from more than 500 individuals.
S. Murali, Business Head–Kerala, Vodafone India, said increase in road accidents has highlighted the need for disciplined driving and stringent adherence to traffic rules. “Vodafone takes this opportunity to urge citizens of Kerala and those travelling to the city to follow traffic rules and remain safe,” he added.
