On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's 152nd birth anniversary, National Youth Day is being celebrated throught the country.
Swami Vivekananda was born on January 12, 1863, in Bengal and was the chief disciple of saint Ramakrishna.
He was the founder of Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission.
In South Kolkata, the residents and students from different schools took part in a colourful procession to observe National Youth Day, organized by Gadadhar Ashrama of Ramakrishna Math & Mission, and a social organisation Vivek.
