Adani Power Ltd has posted a standalone net profit of ₹256.5 crore for the second quarter ended September 2017, against a net loss of ₹335.14 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. This marks its first standalone quarterly profit since April 2016.
The company’s revenues from operations stood at ₹3,460 crore (₹2,828 crore), up 22 per cent on a YoY basis. On a consolidated basis, it posted net profit of ₹292.71 crore for the quarter against net loss of ₹313.05 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated total income in Q2 grew 14 per cent to ₹6,462 crore (₹5,670 crore).
