IndiaFirst Life Insurance, a joint venture between the Bank of Baroda and the Andhra Bank with the British investment company Legal & General, on Friday announced the addition of two more insurance products for the customers of Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank (CGGB). The announcement was made at the Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank here.
M. Gopala Krishna, the Chairman of CGGB, and Satish Balu, the channel head, were present on the occasion. IndiaFirst had tied up with the bank last year.
The bank will offer the IndiaFirst Group Credit Life Plan and the IndiaFirst Group Term Plan to its loan and savings bank account customers, respectively. The bank itself will act as the master policy-holder.
Balu said said farmers and agri business units would be benefited by the schemes. The bank serves customers in Guntur, East Godavari and West Godavari districts through its 106 branches.
