MSME Day is observed the world over annually on June 27 to recognise the importance of micro, small and medium enterprises, shed light on their contributions and promote their growth and sustainability. businessline hosted its annual MSME conclave on June 25 in Bengaluru and June 27 in Coimbatore to celebrate the work of these enterprises in the country. The event brought together eminent personalities including ministers and industry experts to discuss where MSMEs stand in India’s socio-economic landscape today and where they must go. From strengthening the country’s defence ecosystem to bolstering the ‘Make in India’ movement, the conclave delved into the vital and various roles MSMEs play in the ‘India growth story’.
