Thermax on Monday said it has received an order worth ₹353 crore from Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF) for supply of two gas turbines and two waste heat recovery boilers. In a release to the exchanges, the company said it will supply and install two gas turbines of 25 MW each and two waste heat recovery boilers of 100 tonnes per hour each for RCF's co-generation, captive power plant in Thal, Maharashtra. The project is expected to be completed in 22 months. Shares of Thermax were down 2.5 per cent at ₹758.25 on the NSE.

The board of Pochiraju Industries has informed the exchanges that the management is in the process of negotiations with bankers/interested parties to work out a solution for the revival of the company. Earlier, Punjab National Bank had initiated action against the company under the SARFAESI Act and issued notice for auction of the company’s properties. Shares of Pochiraju Industries slipped 1.7 per cent at ₹9.2 on the BSE.

Blue Star plans to begin operations at its proposed manufacturing plant at Samba in Jammu & Kashmir by 2017-18 (April-March), and at Sri City in Andhra Pradesh by 2018-19, the company said in an exchange filing on Monday. The company will soon begin land acquisition. It will invest ₹215 crore over the next three to four years to set up the two manufacturing units, it said. The two units will manufacture room air conditioners, deep freezers and water coolers, and increase the company’s overall production capacity by about a million units. Shares of Blue Star slipped to ₹324.9, down 0.5 per cent on the BSE.
