Durgapur Steel Plant of Steel Authority of India Ltd said on Saturday that in November it crossed the production target in many of its major shops.
Saleable steel output was on target and witnessed a 9 per cent growth over that in November last year.
Production of hot metal, crude steel, blend mix and sinter were 109 per cent, 107 per cent, 101 per cent and 106 per cent of the respective targets, a DSP release said.
According to K.P. Singh, CEO of DSP, the plant has seen consistent improvement in its performance every month during this financial year.
