Auto ancillary firm Rane Brake Lining Ltd reported a significant rise in net profit at ₹9.8 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016, compared with a profit of ₹3.9 crore in a year-ago period, aided by better operating performance. Its EBITDA stood at ₹16.9 crore against ₹11.2 crore in Q2 of previous fiscal, an increase of 51 per cent. Total operating income stood at ₹113.1 crore against ₹109.3 crore, up marginally by three per cent. Robust demand from passenger car and two-wheeler OEMs aided the company’s performance, according to a company statement.
