Bank stocks came under selling pressure with the Bank Nifty shedding about 115 points on the NSE this morning.
It was only ICICI Bank that managed to stay in the green, that too barely.
SBI shed Rs 18.10 to trade at Rs 1,758 and AXIS Bank was down Rs 14.75 at Rs 924.95.
The other major losers were PNB (down Rs 19.95 at Rs 874.90), Kotak Mahindra Bank (down Rs 12.60 at Rs 459.95) and BoB (Rs 715.75, a loss of Rs 11.25).
ICICI Bank was trading at Rs 790, up by 55 paise, the only Bank Nifty stock in the green.
