The Board of Zen Technologies on Tuesday approved acquisition of 51 per cent shareholding in Unistring Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd (UTS) for ₹7 crore. On completion of acquisition, UTS will be a subsidiary of the company, it said. UTS is in the business of development of electronic warfare (EW) solutions, advanced communication systems for defence, telemetry systems and simulators for radar and EW system evaluation. The acquisition, inter-alia, will enable Zen to integrate EW simulation in Combat Training Centre solutions, being demanded by many customers. The stock of Zen Technologies tumbled 4.5 per cent at ₹81.55 on the BSE.
