To cater to Indian students who wish to pursue MBBS abroad, Apollo MedSkills, a division of Apollo Hospitals Group, has partnered with Zarmed University, Uzbekistan.
Through this collaboration which comes into effect from the current academic year of 2025-26, Apollo MedSkills will provide experienced Indian teaching faculty to teach MBBS courses in English medium to Indian students enrolled exclusively through ZAAP MBBS program at Zarmed University’s campuses in Samarkand and Bukhara in Uzbekistan
Zarmed University is a government-recognized private institution in Uzbekistan, offering state-of-the-art infrastructure. “This initiative marks the first-of-its-kind partnership between a reputable Indian medical education and skills development organisation and an overseas university designed to offer Indian students a learning experience on par with Indian medical colleges,’‘ Apollo MedSkills said in a release.
Established in 2012, Apollo MedSkills operates 45 training centres across 25 states.
