The Telugu Desam Party has alleged that the Andhra Pradesh bifurcation Bill has several unconstitutional clauses that need immediate clarification.
“There are about 20 such violations, including infringement of State’s right over waters and law and order,’’ TDP’s Seemandhra leader Devineni Uma said.
He told presspersons here on Monday after the Assembly is adjourned that that the party would raise this issue at the Business Advisory Committee meeting.
“These issues should be resolved even before the Bill is introduced in the House for discussion. Even the State Government wrote a letter to the Centre, seeking clarifications,’’ he said.
He demanded the Government to divulge the details of the letter.
