A local court on Friday granted a four-day custody of A Revanth Reddy, the Telugu Desam Party MLA from Telangana, now under custody in the cash-for-vote related case.

The custody was granted on a petition made by the Anti–Corruption Bureau seeking permission to question him in the scam.

However, the court laid certain conditions for the questioning of Revanth Reddy. These include the questioning should take place between 9 am and 5 pm in the presence of his lawyers and warned against use of third degree methods during the questioning.

The court also granted the custody of two others Sebastian and Udaysimha who were also arrested by the sleuths of ACB earlier when Reddy met with Independent nominated member Elvis Stephenson and tried to offer him Rs 50 lakh seeking his vote for the TDP-BJP candidate Narender Reddy.

The whole interaction was also caught on tape. During the meeting, there was also assurance to give Rs 5 crore in all. The cops are probing various angles in the case, including the role of the Boss which Revanth Reddy had referred during the conversation.

With the Telangna Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy stating they have evidence against TDP Chief and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the case is being hotly debated about blackmail tactics.

The police are probing from where the money had come from while attempt was made to pass on to Stephenson and also the role of others involved in the conspiracy.

Reacting to his name being referred by the Home Minister, Naidu shot back saying that he was sought to be politically implicated. In fact, he challenged the Home Minister to book a case against Telangna Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who he said was responsible for engineering defections and increase the number from 63 to 75 in the house.
