Top teams from across the country will congregate in Mumbai on Saturday to participate in the finals of the BusinessLine Cerebration Corporate Quiz. They have earned their place in the finals after hard-fought regional rounds.
The quiz, presented by the Union Bank of India and powered by BSNL, is considered to be among the most challenging tests of knowledge in the country. The quiz targets business professionals, corporate executives, and students from India’s top B-schools.
Six winners from the regional rounds held in Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Kochi, Bengaluru and Mumbai (the Mumbai regional round will be held on Saturday before the finals) will battle it out in the grand finale.
The winners of the regional rounds are: Tata Consultancy Services (Chennai); Sai Mitra Constructions (Hyderabad); Deloitte (New Delhi); Mikudu (Kochi) and ICRA (Bengaluru).
They made it to the finals after some tough quizzing in text, audio and visual formats.
Contest of 350 teams
The competition was extended to six cities this year. Over 250 teams participated in the regional rounds; some 100 teams are registered for Saturday’s Mumbai round.
On Saturday, first, the Mumbai regional round will be held with the teams taking a written test. Of this, the top six teams will be shortlisted for a round of quizzing. The winner will then take on the other regional winners in the grand finale.
