Ford India has introduced a new ‘Black Edition’ of its compact SUV Ford EcoSport. Available in three variants – Trend+, Titanium & Titanium+ – the new EcoSport will have a pricetag that starts from ₹8,58,500 (ex-showroom Delhi).
It will be available with a choice of three powertrains – a 1.5l TiVCT petrol engine, a 1.5l TDCi diesel engine and the 1.0l EcoBoost engine.
The new ‘Black Edition’ will offer all-black exteriors including a black grille, black-out moulded headlamps, 16-inch black alloy wheels, black mirror covers, black fog lamp bezel, black roof rails & roof cross bars.
The 1.5L diesel variant offers 100 PS of power and fuel economy of 22.27 km/l while the 1.5L petrol engine delivers 112 PS of power and fuel efficiency of 15.85 km/l.
The car is available with automatic and manual transmission options and features six airbags for enhanced safety.
