Aviva Life Insurance (Aviva India) today launched ‘Aviva Heart Care’ insurance plan specially designed for couples who want to buy a joint policy for their hearts.
“Aviva Life Insurance launches the first ever heart insurance for couples in India. A unique feature of this product is that it allows you to cover your spouse and you in the same policy at a nominal extra premium,” the company said at the product launch event here.
The need to introduce a specific product for heart was felt given the fact that Indians are prone to such ailments because of various factors like genetics, unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle, stress.
With a maximum sum assured of Rs 50 lakh per life, policy term ranges 10-25 years, taking into account the maximum maturity age of years.
