Mohit Industries Ltd has chalked out expansion plans at an investment of Rs 140 crore over the next two years.

The company said that it has planned to install 4 plants of Aerated Autoclaved Concrete Blocks in two years. In the first phase 2 plants with a capacity of 3,00,000 cubic metres each would be commissioned and the first plant is expected to begin commercial production in February 2012 whereas the second plant will start by September 2012.

Apart from this, it has decided to install 100 automatic shuffle-less looms and 4 texturising machines at its Kim unit in the current financial year.

The project cost for 2 AAC blocks plant, 100 automatic shuttle-less looms and 4 texturising machines will be approximately Rs. 140 crore to be funded through bank loan and internal accruals.
