Honda Cars India (HCIL) today reported a 4.83 per cent decline in its domestic sales to 14,838 units in January.
The company had sold 15,592 units in the domestic market in January 2017, HCIL said in a statement.
Last month, the company sold 422 units of small car Brio, 2,257 units of premium hatchback Jazz, 2,836 units of compact sedan Amaze and 3,968 units of mid-sized sedan City.
The company also sold 4,273 units of its compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) WR-V. While SUV BR-V saw sales of 1,071 units, those of SUV CR-V stood at 11 units.
In addition, it exported a total of 398 units during the month under review.
