Spot rubber recovered marginally on Tuesday. RSS 4 improved to ₹126.50 from ₹125.50 and ₹126 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The market opened steady but regained strength later on enquiries from the tyre sector. July futures improved to ₹127.80 (126.78), August to ₹129 (127.79) and September to ₹127.80 (126.04) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) inched up to ₹104.94 (104.80) at Bangkok. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 126.50 (125.50); RSS-5: 122.50 (122); ISNR 20: 120 (119) and Latex (60% drc): 85.50 (85.50).
