Edible oils prices ruled mixed for second consecutive day on Friday on slack demand, volatile futures and weak rupee. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, palmolein and rapeseed oil rose by ₹2 and ₹1 each. Soyabean and cotton refined oil dropped by ₹2 and ₹5 for 10 kg each. Groundnut and sunflower oil were steady. Sources said as stockists have bought enough level the previous day local refineries started offering discount. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹576 , super palmolein ₹596 and soyabean refined oil ₹642. Ruchi was quoting palmolein at ₹568, soyabean refined oil ₹635 and sunflower refined oil ₹637 for August. Allana was quoting palmolein at ₹572 , soyabean refined oil ₹635 and sunflower refined oil ₹635. In Saurashtra, groundnut telia tin was down ₹5 to ₹1,240 and loose (10 kg) ₹795 (₹795).
