Andhra Bank has launched two new savings schemes for children.
The schemes, AB Little Stars for children aged between 10 and 14 years, and AB Teens for those who are in the age group of 15-18 years, will be promoted by 60 specially chosen brand ambassadors in 30 schools in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, according to G Ravi Kumar, General Manager, Andhra Bank.
In the first scheme, the parent of the child can operate the account while in AB Teens accounts, the teenager can operate the account on his/her own. They would be also be given a debit-cum-ATM card, besides net banking and mobile banking facilities, he said at the launch function held here.
