Corporation Bank registered a net profit of ₹60.53 crore in the third quarter of 2018-19. The bank had registered a loss of ₹1,240.49 crore during Q3 of 2017-18.
Provisioning for non-performing assets (NPAs) came down during the third quarter of 2018-19 compared to the corresponding period of 2017-18. Provisions for NPAs stood at ₹842.28 crore during Q3 2018-19, compared to ₹2494.71 crore during the third quarter of 2017-18.

Gross NPAs of the bank increased to 17.36 per cent (15.92 per cent), and net NPAs to 11.47 per cent (10.73 per cent) during the quarter. Net interest income (NII) of the bank stood at ₹1,303.02 crore (₹1,263.47 crore), and the other income at ₹294.22 crore (₹453.52 crore) during the quarter.
