1. An early riser, I start the day with 30 minutes of Pranayam and meditation. My morning routine is yoga two-three times a week and a mandatory 6-8 km run or 20-km bike ride four to five times a week. The alarm is off at 5 a.m. (except on Sundays) and I am at breakfast by 7:30 a.m. The trick is a disciplined routine!
2. My lifestyle had become sedentary. So I started running, but the month-long fad became a habit and soon an addiction. Despite my gruelling travel schedule, my running shoes or swimming gear are always in my travel bag!
3. Just do it. Swim, bike, run, golf… whatever is doable and accessible! I have been running for five years, but never in an event! The Airtel Great Delhi Run (in 2016) was my first! I look forward to running the 21-kilometres this year.
4. I unwind at the end of the day with a book or watching some stand-up act on YouTube. Laughter is the best medicine!
5. I also play golf over the weekend with my kids or if they are busy (which more often than not, they are!), with friends.
