Sanitaryware maker, Cera Sanitaryware Limited posted net profit of Rs 26.89 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, indicating a growth of 3.24 per cent on year on year basis.
The net sales income increased by 12.86 per cent to Rs 295.72 crore for the second quarter from Rs 262.03 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Company informed that comparable growth in revenue net of Goods & Services Tax (GST) for the current quarter and net of Excise Duty for same quarter of previous year is 18.07 per cent.
The basic and annualized earnings per share during the second quarter stood at Rs 20.97 and Rs 83.87 respectively as compared to Rs 20.25 and Rs 80.98 for the same quarter last year.
Cera Sanitaryware shares gained by 1.26 per cent to Rs 3,284.45 on the BSE on Thursday.
