Hindustan Motors Finance Corporation Ltd (HMFCL) on Monday launched the new next-gen Mitsubishi Outlander with Advanced CVT technology.

The new Outlander is available in Mumbai from today at ₹31.95 lakh for the 2.4L, 4WD, CVT automatic transmission (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai).

At the launch of the Mitsubishi Outlander, Uttam Bose, Managing Director, HMFCL, said, “The Outlander has established itself as an outstanding product in the premium SUV segment. With its contemporary new look, the dominant toughness of Outlander has never been more appealing and we believe that it will set new benchmarks in its segment. The new engine provides the superior performance, capability and refinement customers in this premium SUV segment expect.”

The new Outlander comes with offerings such as Dual zone AC air filters, Electric Parking Break with auto hold function, Power tilt and sliding sunroof with anti-trapping function, Rain Sensing wipers, Keyless operation system with push button start.

The new 16-inch, 6.5J alloy wheel with ornament design – is standard equipment, fitted with 215/70R16 tyres.

On the inside, the new Outlander surrounds its occupants with car-like comfort and luxury while providing true seven-seater SUV functionality. The vehicle features ergonomically crafted genuine leather seats. Door panels are also finished in genuine leather for visual appeal and design consistency.

In-car entertainment

For in-car entertainment, the SUV sports a Roackfort acoustic in-car entertainment system comes with a (7” Inch) 2 Din system, 710W 8-Channel high power amplifier, with six-speaker and woofer with shark fin antenna which supports all popular file formats, a rear camera.

Outlander offers highly responsive, 16-valve DOHC – Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Electronic Control System (MIVEC) which feature outstanding torque output plus impressive levels of smoothness and refinement. The 2.4-liter DOHC MIVEC peaks at 222 Nm of torque at 4100 rpm, and is rated at 123 kW@6000rpm (167PS) of power output.

The all-new 4X4 Electronically Controlled Injection with Advanced CVT automatic transmission with paddle shifter is an all-terrain vehicle that can handle city, highway or hill driving with ease and agility with MIVEC Engine power.

The new Mitsubishi Outlander offers 7 air bags, part of an array of active and passive safety features. These bags are designed to protect the head, thorax and knee in the event of front or side impact. It will be seven exterior colours, Black Pearl, Cosmic Blue, Orient Red, White Solid, White Pearl and Titanium Grey.
