Nova IVI Fertility, a division of Nova Medical Centers, today said it will invest over Rs 200 crore to set up 30 fertility clinics in India and the Middle East over the next three years.

Nova IVI Fertility, which is a partnership between Nova Pulse IVF and Spain’s IVI, launched its fifth centre here.

“Over the next 2-3 years, we plan to launch 25-30 fertility clinics in the country and the Middle East. The investment would be over Rs 200 crore,” Suresh Soni, Chairman and CEO, Nova Medical Centers said.

The company will open around seven fertility clinics in 2013 in places like Hyderabad, Surat and Nagpur, he added.

Nova, which has currently one fertility clinic in Oman, is looking to open around five more in the Middle East region in the next three years.

“The potential markets in the Middle East are Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar,” Soni said, adding that the rest, 25 centres, will be opened in India.

Valencia-based IVI is one of the leading organisations in reproductive medicine with 23 clinics spread across Europe and and South America.
