Sun TV Networks has reported a 11 per cent increase in net profit to ₹240 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2016, against ₹216 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue was up by 3 per cent to ₹589 crore (₹573 crore) due to a 17 per cent increase in subscription revenue to ₹242 crore (₹207 crore). The company’s board has declared an interim dividend of ₹5 per share (100 per cent) on a face value of ₹5 per share, says a company press release.
