The modernisation of Chennai, Kolkata and two other airports is set to get delayed with the last date for private parties interested in participating in the bidding process being extended by more than two months.
The Airports Authority of India has now extended till May 26 this year the last date for parties interested in bidding for developing the airports. Lucknow and Ahmedabad are the other two airports which are being modernised.
