ASM Technologies has partnered with Oracle to co-develop Oracle Fusion Value Chain Planning applications, a kind of software used by mid-size companies. As a part of this initiative, ASM will work on two separate co-development projects for the next release of Oracle Fusion Value Chain Planning applications. Bangalore-based ASM is one of the key members of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) and a provider of supply chain solutions used by transportation, logistics and other companies will provide engineering and functional resources to assist in the development of the next generation of Oracle Fusion Value Chain Planning applications.
According to Narayana Krishnan, Senior Vice-President, Business Development, ASM, the company is making ‘significant’ investments in Oracle Fusion, which benefits both companies. “It prepares our consulting team with the depth of knowledge they require to deploy these new products and helps Oracle quicken its go to market strategies,” he added. “It is critical to our strategy to engage partners in the development of our next generation of products and we benefit from their real world experience and domain knowledge,” according to Roger Goossens, Vice-President, Value Chain Planning Development, Oracle.
