US-based web-hosting services provider and domain name registrar, GoDaddy.com , is planning to set up a customer care centre in India.
``Indian operations will be our first international expansion outside the US. The customer support centre will be operational in less than three months from now,’’ Mr Rajiv Sodhi, Managing Director – India, GoDaddy.com told Business Line here.
The customer care centre would be vital for its Indian operations as clients would not need to place an international and would also increase a sense of proximity to the company.
The $1.2 billion company will also be hiring about 100 professionals in for various roles in India, he added.
