Infosys Senior Vice-President and Design and Research Head Sanjay Rajagopalan has quit the company.
In his LinkedIn profile Rajagopalan has mentioned himself as a 'free' man. Rajagopalan headed the Design Thinking approach, which uses creativity to address problems faced by a user. When contacted, an Infosys spokesperson said: “The company doesn’t comment on exits or appointments other than those of key management personnel.”
His exit comes a month after Vishal Sikka, stepped down from the post of CEO after a spat with Infosys co-founders over governance issues. Rajagopalan was employed with Infosys from August 2014 to September 2017, and was amongst several of Sikka's colleagues from SAP, who had moved to Infosys to help him implement new initiatives such as Design Thinking.
Rajagopalan also helped put together a large-scale design thinking training session for all Infosys employees at Mysuru and other development centres.
